feelgood

Last week I helped set up a 10 year reunion of colleagues from my Central Saint Martins class. This included a group presentation called ‘feelgood,’ providing an opportunity for people to share something of their experience in their work and personal life which made them feel good. There was a lot of inspiring work shown, but also an interesting theme emerging, of people searching for a more integral approach to design, incorporating a connection with a way of living and working which supported and nourished their own lives. I produced a presentation which expressed my experiences of this, particularly how food and cooking has given me a glimpse into the nature of creativity which comes through me, but which is also beyond myself, beyond my ego, tapping into something much greater. It also spoke of the vision I have for my work through the wholefood kitchen website, and for my own life. Unfortunately, I didn’t record the talk, but here is a pdf of my presentation.
