Joyful & Happy, YY Kitchen

A delightful contribution from Yukiko Amatsu:

‘I am making sweets with my friend, Yasuko. We have decided our business name as YY Kitchen. YY is not only our initials, but also has a meaning in Japanese mimetic word asĀ  joyful & happy. We enjoy our cooking very much and make sweets with lots of love. Most of Japanese sweets are made with no oils, little flours, hence they are low calories. Also, red beans are quite nutritious as well. Of course, we don’t use any preservative at all, so they has to be eaten as fresh, that’s why we are selling our sweets at the shop very close to my place – straight from our kitchen. Our products are really homemade!’

Thank you!
Yukiko

YY Kitchen’s sweets are available every Tuesday at Chanoma, in Baker St, London.
