Hearty Onion Soup Kitchen

A test run of the Onion Soup I’ll be making at Soup Kitchen No.2, Monday 21 November at the Happy Kitchen Canteen. It’s a traditional recipe, a rich, hearty Soup made with White Onions, White Wine and homemade Vegetable Stock. We’ll use Flour to thicken it, which in this case will be a gluten-free Buckwheat to fit in with Happy Kitchen’s gluten-free ethos. There’s no compromise on taste and flavour. We’ll be serving with Gluten-free or Sourdough bread from from the E5 Bakehouse, and some Gruyere for old-school cheese-lovers. Would you like to join in on the class?
