I shared a delicious lunch with Zach at The Modern Pantry, before checking out my Art Exhibition which is on display until January 6. Entitled ‘Ko te Korero te Kai a te Rangatira’ (Words are the Food of Chiefs), it features a series of prints and drawings inspired by Whakatauki (Maori proverbs) combining Maori text with English translations which showcase the beauty and resonance of Maori language, and the wisdom of these ancient sayings.
