Day One of Jean TornĂ©’s Seasonal Kitchen programme, and Jean sets the context for the week of an exploration of cooking, and our relationship with food. He leaves us with a question to ponder: ‘Is this food?’ Is this something real, vital, alive, that will nourish me, and not just fill a hole? I find it extraordinary, but there are still a couple of seats left on this magic bus.
